Theresa Hastings Hair is made up of not just one person, but a duo. Kaitlyn & Theresa met over the love of hair & Jesus. Shortly after, they decided to join forces and come together with the sole purpose of helping to bring beauty & joy to every bride they have the opportunity to work with.
Hi, I'm Theresa
After a morning working a wedding, you'll probably find that I am driving home to go get my pup and take him on either a nice long hike or to the dog park. If I'm not doing either of those, I'm probably rallying up my friends and convincing them that the best way to spend the day is at a brewery in western Loudoun and having a few sips of their best IPA.
Theresa is a down to earth, easy to please girl who can talk your ear off about her job, or her faith. I love to spend my free time in the evenings attending my church's young adults group, or helping host our ladies bible study. I found my faith when I was leaving college and it is a fundamental part of who I am.
I love wearing light & bright colors, I drink iced coffee year round, and I don't like being gifted flowers or chocolate. I despise winter, but love snowboarding. If you can relate to any of that, I'm sure we'd be a great fit & I can't wait to hear from you!
A Bit About Kaitlyn
I’m Kaitlyn Shaw and I am so happy to be part of Theresa Hastings Hair! I have been working in the industry since 2015, hair has been a passion of mine since I could even remember. I am from Southern California but spent the later years of my childhood in Northern Virginia. Me and the love of my life have been married since 2018 and now reside in West Virginia! What I love the most about doing bridal hair is making you feel like your most beautiful self on your big day!
What sparked Theresa's interest to start a bridal hair company.
When I look back on my childhood, I remember constantly braiding my little sisters hair and cutting all the hair off my barbie dolls. In high-school I was that junior who spent her prom day making everyone else feel pretty and only giving herself a mere 30 minutes to throw on her dress and head out the door. Then when I graduated high school my sister in law asked me to do her hair for her wedding and that's when I realized I truly love making people feel beautiful on what could easily go down as the most special day of their life.
6 years later and here I am, a hairstylist who specializes in blondes, extensions and bridal hair. Who would have ever thought that now I have the best job ever - making women feel beautiful not just on their wedding day, but every day. I am the face behind Theresa Hastings Hair LLC, the one you'll be in direct contact with and will guide you smoothly though the booking process.
